I would advise ANYONE who has not listened to Days Of The New's second album (the "Green" album as it is called - cover is green) to do so.
And NO!! TANTRIC IS NOT DAYS OF THE NEW! It is the previos band members, without the lead of Travis Meeks, who was the entire talent, songwriting, and creative force behind DOTN - and he still carries the name with a new crop of awesome musicians.
I'm a huge DOTN fan - but that album is seriously incredible. Like a Dark Side Of The Moon for this era.
Of course, their latest release (the "Red" album) is also very worthwhile.
Other than that, I've been into Disturbed's "The Sickness" lately, as well as "Wind Up" by Dust For Life - pretty good band.
Oh yeah - lest I forget "Lateralus" by Tool - that album makes my brain explode.

There's been no good hip-hop cds lately that I can think of, but I went to a concert last night that featured
DJ Rectangle and ..........
DJ Q-Bert
WOW, it was a life changing experience hehe
never knew that someone's hands could be that fast.

Any Tool album is great, I have had their live album in my car for a while now, every once in a while switch it up with some Pantera-Vulgar Display of Power baby
I haven't really bought any new CD's lately, the newest one was Candiria's latest album, it is pretty good, but I have burned a bunch of CD's off my friend, all recent and past ones, and I am pretty good on CD's now, collection is getting near 100 in the car. But all you will hear in my system is classic rock and metal, but not ***** metal like Creed and Linkin Park, metal like Hatebreed, Candiria, E-Town Concrete, and **** like that. Also, my boy has a band called Crionix, if anyone has time and likes metal visit their site, www.Crionix.com, and check them out. I promise you will like them.

well just to give you guys an idea of what I listen too....
RAMMSTEIN!!!! there is a big draw back to their music though....if you are listening to it in your car......it has a tendency to effect your gas pedal....it likes to go to the floor when Rammstein is playing! lol
actually my music taste is VERY wide and varried.....it really depends on the mood I am in.
