It was, however, a mechanical brother of the Geo Storm.

Yeah they're both Asuna's

The top one is just called an "SE"

Just thought I would mess with you Americans

Also there's the Asuna Sunrunner (Tracker)

And a couple pontiac versions...the Pontiac Tempest (Corsica) and the Firefly (Metro)

Thats what I thought. Asuna must have been GM secret Canadian Car Company, that simply rebadged what ever GM had to offer. How dare they keep it away from us? Do they still 'make' Asunas, or are they long forgotten by now?

Ahhhh.....but that's not entirely true. The Geo Storm never came in a turbo charged all wheel drive version like the Isuzu "I Need a Rally Beater" Impulse!!

I really liked the previous generation of the Impulse after they got Lotus to work out the suspension. A great looking car, IMHO, which unfortunately rusted faster than any other car on the planet up here in the rust belt. Now if they had ever offered a turbo AWD version of that one I be killing myself trying to find one.

why spend money to make the car hideous ?

i DID know '69 Chevy Camaro, and i did know "Fathom Green" for that year., as my dad spent a LOT of money back in '75 to get his old camaro repainted "Fathom Green". i DID know that there were a few "super-rare" variants of the camaro, and figured it to be one of those. ANYONE could have guessed camaro... to find out exactly WHICH variant, i backtraced the link that you posted your picture from...

yeah, i cheat.. just not totally.

Dude....not cheating at all....its what I would call "creative detective work" perfectly legal on the net!! :{D GOOD JOB!

just let this bastard blow you at full throttle and he'll do your paint stripping for you.

this car should be in a Museum, less than 100 were ever made.

Specific enough for you?
