Cool My name is Mike, and I'm a RICER!

They say confession is good for the soul, so here goes. I have crossed over and joined what some would say are the ranks of ricers. Got my new taillights today and installed same. Not that I expect to get flamed here (why I won't post this over on the "other" forum), but I like them. I feel like they blend nicely with my car's color, and once I get some of those clear amber bulbs they will be sharp. Set me apart from the madding crowd.

Before you all ask for pics my camera is down tonight, if demand is high I will take one tomorrow. These are the ones that have been talked about elsewhere, basically they look like stock except for the lighting areas are round.

Let's see some tail light pictures so that we may more efficiently make fun of you.

wait a minute....

Doesnt a ricer put these types of things on their cars to make their car LOOK faster...but really isnt...

So if you put things on your car just b/c you want to and arent trying to impress anyone with speed..

wouldnt it be different then?

I mean..I put neons on my car..and I get more attention from these "ricers" around here thaN i origanlly intended..

kinda like that prolly 99 model saturn that is soo friggen fast he had to put a HUGE FART CAN ON IT!!!!!OMG!!

*sigh*

I think I have seen those tails on ebay. They don 't really look rice to me. I actually was thinking of getting them. I like them cuz the clear rectangle for the reverse and turn signal is at the bottom of the tailight instead of the middle. That make sit look a little smaller IMO. thats why I like them.

Camera is up, here be pics. The third one is with the lights on, not sure how much you can tell since it was taken during daylight. The large upper circle is the brake light. I like these lights because I feel they give more visual separation between the bulbs than the stockers, which should mean higher visibility and better safety. I am going to try replacing the turn bulbs with some clear (lights up amber) LED bulbs for the same reason (and for appearance too!).

Looks good, looks like they give the car more "class" with that tone of paint, makes it look more expensive.

Um, exactly like the sedan stockers...because they were!

Thanks for all the positive comments. Not that I need them, but it is nice to hear. I won't be tinting the clear part, because I want all the visibility I can get.

So, the clear line in the middle vs. being at the bottom...subtle.
