the moment you knew you LOVED your car...
So i spend ALL of the afternoon digging dirt in the woods for some trails i'm digging ( bmx jumps for those who don't know),
Got a little dirty, but overall had a great time. Those who ride can agree, but for those who don't understand, not only is riding your bike all zen-like and stuff, but digging just gets you all zoned out and such. By yourself in the woods, you start talking to your self, kinda out-loud meditation. It's ultra cool for those who have never done it. Anyways, <back to how this goes along with my car> I take off my shoes since they're dirty( and you should never never never dirty your car!) and get back home. Home involves a twisty turny road where the speed limit is 60, which translates to 70-75. Driving with m shoes off, I felt EVERY vibration, movment, rpm, bump, spring compress- anything that you can feel in a car- I felt it. (tear) It was sunset, I was all zen'ed out, and i was hauling the tail through the twisties- This is what the Protege is all about!
when was everyone elses moment when they decided they loved their car???

I got really pissed off at it when I began to learn Manual when I got my license. Frankly I was afraid of it lol! I remember when my dad went to HK and I had the freedom to drive it, but never did...for 2 weeks I stared at the big yellow P5 and wondered if it was right to get the Manual rather than the Auto. I guess you could say I had no confidence in myself when it came to start/stops and the dreaded uphill lights. But I worked through it and in a few weeks, I really fell in love with this car. Took away all my stress at the time. Nothin better than opening up the sunroof, rollin down the windows, and pumpin the stock soundsystem, while shiftin into the various five gears...I for once felt like I was in control of the car, and I knew I could never drive an auto again! The handling of the P5 out did the Civic I once had, and I really began to appreciate the car as I could take it around the corners real fast...as long as there were no PoPos in sight Now with all of my mods, I couldnt be happier with the P5, but I still cant get enough, and I always want to improve it. Hmmmm now I just got to think of a name....

before i saw the p5 in person i thought it was some "***** *** girls car" (quote of what my dad says i was saying, he talked me into looking at it).... but then we showed up at the dealer
right at the corner of the lot we pullup and see a black, fully loaded 5 speed, dark tint p5, just as i see its *** i pop a wood and say i want it
drove it, and just couldnt stop drooling.
decided i wanted red, payed in cash, had it a week later
now im thinking of selling it, even if i still lover it

Driving down High St., downtown Columbus and OSU campus, with two girls getting it on the in back and me drooling looking in my rear view mirror. It was a beautiful thing, couldnt have done it in a smaller car! :P

I thought it was ok when I test drove it.
I liked it when I bought it
I love it now.
I used to think that one should sell a car and get a new one every few years... but after driving this one, I have changed my mind. I´m going to keep this one, and drive it until it dies... (or until I get another Pro).
