Looks like the Toyota Matrix

Is it just me, or does this new Mazda in Hong Kong/Japan looks like the Toyota Matrix a bit?

No the Matrix looks like the Pro

but with more GO

It also looks a little more "minivan" like...looks tall from the pics.

I think it would be more correct to say that the new Matrix copied the Premacy, instead of the other way around. It's been out for quite a while now.

On a side note, I know it's based on the Protege/323 platform, but does anyone else notice how suprisingly similar the doors are shaped compared to the Protege's???

thats what I meant. Sorry. Yea, the Premacy has been out longer, but the simple fact is that everyone is copying off of the Mazda Protege 5! Have you seen the Pontiac Vibe? That car has alot of features like the Protege 5, but damn is it cheap looking! The new Car and Driver has a review on the Vibe and Matrix, the interior looks very cheap on the Vibe. I have owned a Pontiac Grand Am, never again will I get a POS like that again.
