dude we all fell your pain my life has always sucked i will name just a few things when I was 4 my brother had a tumor on his brain alot of quick growing up there when I was 8 my mom died and I had to go from maturity age 8 to 18 in a matter of months I have never had many friends now i think I might have 2 and girls my luck with girls damn dude I've bumped uglies like twice and when I say uglies I mean UGLIES I felt like there was noone out there for me in any way.Ending it was always on mind and I didn't do it not because it is the cowards way out but because I was so damn scared of death itself. Now hows that one for you I couldnt do it because I was ****** scared talkin about feeling low nothing worse then that.I hated everything, everyone, and worse og all I hated me but you know what helped me funny as it might seem paintball being able to go out every weekend and work out all of that out while I shoot people (paintball players with paintballs not people on the street) made me feel much better.And you know my life now Is still not much better but I can vent when ever I need to and I dont have to worry about who I might vent on and hurt because after that I feel good all week. try it man I know theres a feild somewhere around you and you can rent equpitment pretty cheep...

Lost Concept: I am sorry. I think you are a good person. The only thing i can say is two-fold. 1) try counseling of some sort; 2) try volunteering your time and services. There are many people in need and helping others will indeed be rewarding and helpful to you. You may opt for underpriviliedged kids; the elderly; or the Animal shelters. Being active creates the positive attitude that you crave right now. Good luck!

WRONG. Most modern anti-depressants are mood stabalizers, not mood enhancers (or depressants). That means they make you feel the way you SHOULD, not the way you WANT.

While I don't have any problem with weed on a small scale, I definetely wouldn't advocate it as a solution to your problems.

Oh yeah, Bristol-Meyer Squibb, etc. knows exactly how you SHOULD feel. I trust them to control my brain activity, entirely. Afterall, these kind folks have your best interest in mind. They certainly are not concerned with making a profit.

And as most of their advertisements suggest: "ask your doctor if Prozac (or Zoloft, etc.) is right for you.."
1) The act of "advertising" such products to the general public seems to suggest that these chemicals need a "demand" created for them, which is at complete odds with the "should v. want" statement you made above
And 2), I am sure the physicians are more than happy to comply with patient requests. Then we can all feel the way we "should", and everyone can be exactly alike, any variations between us corrected by more chemicals or plastic surgery.
