From what I have read, the reason that the law suits are less in Canada is because in Canada the person bringing the suit and loses pays court costs! I'll have to check into that. Anyone practice Canadian law on the board?

You are right about court costs. If the judge deems the lawsuit frivolous, he/she can force the suer to pay the court costs.
