I'm PISSED OFF!!!!

well I am venting...so there ya go!!

I was called out to work today....wasn't supposed to be there...but was called and told I had to come in....I decided to drive the P-5 since my truck was full of gas and I had to take it on a long trip tomorrow and didn't feel like having to fill it back us AGAIN before we left....on my way to work a frickin buzzard hit my windshield and took it OUT!!! nearly came all the way through the damn thing.....here I am with a NEW car, not even 3300 miled on it and a frickin buzzard nearly comes through my windshield....not only is it going to cost me the $150 to have it replaced...but its going to cost to have the registration sticker replaced...AND I will have to pay to have the safty inspection redone...grrrrr....and in texas you get a safty inspection that is good for TWO years when you buy a new car....and the ones after that are only good for ONE year....so now I am going to have to get it done AGAIN next year too!!! DAMN FRICKIN BUZZARDS!!!!!!

the worst part yet...is if I had taken my truck....its windshield is already cracked...and had it busted that one I really wouldn't have cared!!!! **** **** **** ****!!!!!!!

you hit a buzzard? how the heck does that happen? I thought birds never get hit by cars and would always fly away in time?

Just kidding, that does happen on rare occasions when those damn birds dont pay attention then fly into your window .... You lucky it didnt go through the window and hit you causing you to crash thats the good thing ... Good thing u safe, but i know you are very VERY pissed about all the time and money the stupid bird will cause you.

when OTHER things get hit on the road, skunks, armadillo's, oposums, hogs, deer, anything......sooner or later the damn buzzards are there for THEIR meal....they were sitting right on the side of the road....I started slowing down and even blew my horn....did they get up and fly AWAY....HELL NO!! the damn bastards got up and few right into the damn road!!!!

I have hit birds before....I have had small ones divebomb my car like some kind of kamakazi and get it too......but if you go and look at my car it looks like somenone hit the windshield with a baseball bat!! hey....I got my digital camera...I will get a pic for you.

here it is!

if anything else is wrong with the car....make sure you pointed out..........
tell them that you had a cat-back exhaust system......tinted windows, 18" wheels and all that good stuff, but after the freaking bird hit your car it ruined everything.....
it might work....you never know

Sir Nuke ,I feel for you .You should see what happens when you hit a Ruffed Grouse (about the size of a small chicken ) at 120kph
(70mph)in a 92 Protege . The grill and bird blow up and you get lots of parts all over the front of the car. What a mess!

TheMan, already talked to the shop about that one....they had to order it but will have it on monday.....and I KNOW they can remove the stickers and put them back on...seen it done before...just don't know if they will or not...and I am going to be at work when they do the work...my wife will be here though....I went to the trouble of removing the rearview mirror, the wipers, and the vent covering myself....now there is no need for them to be messing with any of it.

Craigrrrp.....and least I am working my way DOWN in size!! next time the damn critter should be small enough that I don't even have to attempt to miss him! lol SPLAT!!!!! :{D

Mack...I am actually GLAD that if I had to hit this thing...it hit the window and not the front end....there is no telling what all damage it would have done....

A few years back I was going home from work and it was right after dark...I was following a ford truck that was kind of jacked up...anyway....I could see UNDER his truck out in front of him and actually saw a rat or mouse run across the road in his headlights...and RIGHT behind him was a OWL!! and BAMMMM!! instand cloud of feathers as he landed right smack dab in the middle of that ford grill!!! .... made me think that the mouse/rat was sitting on the center strip looking back at the owl flipping him off!! lol (ever seen the poster "the last great act of defiance??)
