I'm At A Crossroads...

Well, as most (if not all) of you know my car ended up wrecked about 3 weeks ago. So, I decided to splurge and order the WW kit, (flare free) because my bumper needed replacement. Now, I've been without car for 3 weeks, and it looks like the kit may be another week or two away.

So, here's my dilemma:

Do I wait until the kit comes in, which may be a week or two, or even more...

OR

Do I put a new stock bumper (probably the MP3 one because sidemarkers lick *****) onto my car? (I can have the factory bumper in 2 days.)

Please post your comments below, and use the poll to vote. I need to know real soon, as Mazda In The Mountains is on Saturday, and the only way I'll make it is if I have my car back.

I keep weighing the pros and cons, and if I do have the stock bumper as well as the kit, at least if I go to sell or something I can switch back, or even put the stock one back on for the winter. Who knows. If I wait for the kit though, I'll be saving $400 CAD. I'm leaning to getting both bumpers by a healthy margin, but I want to see what everyone else has to say. Money really isn't an issue, as I've been saving for this kit for awhile now. Anyway, let me know!

Thanks!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add. If I do get the stock bumper again, I'm still getting the kit, just not until it comes in.

I was going to pick #3 as a joke, but honestly picked #1. Why would you want stock bumper? It would be sitting around collecting dust! Even if insurance cuts you a check, go and use the money towards the new kit.

Point taken, but then I'd miss the biggest Mazda meet of the year (all kinds of Mazdas, not just Pros) and be without a car for whoever knows how much longer!

i say get the kit, lay off on the bumper but if you do get the bumper you could always sell it on ebay or here on pclub

you should take your car anyway, fellow mazda owners will understand your devotion

By the way I went ahead and ordered the MP3 bumper and it came in this afternoon. It even has the holes for my lip splitter pre-drilled!
