If you had a choice in a magizine...

For all of you people that read car magizines wether it be Turbo, SCC, GRM, Super Street, Import Tuner etc., what are some articals or features that you would like to see, and what are some that you are just plain sick of reading about?

Thanks in advance

I know what you mean. I'm so sick of reading only about Hondas, and Acuras.

did anyone read the issue of sport compact car with the ultimate street car challenge? i thought it was quite funny about the 3000gt. the owner claimed it had 650hp i think it was, but it only dynoed at around 300. they were totally ripping on the owner because he was bragging about all the goodies he had on it. he got last or close to on almost every competition. they just kept saying, that's what braggin will get ya. haha.

True...but they don't come with as much posters as Super Street.

I'm subcribed to Super Street and Sport Compact Car. Super Street seems more like a carshow mag. Turbo and Import Tuner are more like "hands on" type magazines. The give you instructions on how to do things. I usually get Turbo magazine off the shelf, but their mag is pretty interesting and so is Import Tuner.

My favorite thing about their reg articles (be it tech or just talk) is that they make it really interesting and they relate it back to something people can relate to. (is that too many relates in one sentence?!) I hope this isn't confusing...

j/k, i understand what your saying, i want to make tech stuff not only intreasting, but something that could help YOU with YOUR car. Obviously i cant make every artical pertain to everyone, but im going to keep a varity of tech stuff in each issue so most people will have something that is usefull to them

What are some tech articals you guys would like to readabout? something specific so i can add to my list. i already have engine rebuilds, porting and deburing, lsd rebuilds etc, what are some protege specific articals that would be good to publish? any non-protege specific ones you guys would like to read about?

Honestly with me it is anything and everything. I mean from the intake, to the fuel system to the suspension...I want to sponge it all in
Good to hear.

also i had already written down fuel system stuff but wasnt sure if i should keep it cus nobody has mentioned it, you think other people would also see an intreast in it? and if so what aspect? just how it works? maintence/repair and maby upgrade?

...it does seem to be important seeing as fuel kinda makes the car go somewhere...
lol, got a point. I thought about it for a while, i think an artical on How to upgrade your fuelsystem, and how to know you need to would be a good idea. I think ive got some idea's to base off it

Is there just not an aftermarket following for the 1.6? im not familiar with them.

I am going to do a fuel system artical, will include trouble shooting, what to upgrade and how to do it. Also will have some specs from cars so you know what you have so when you upgrade you dont buy a lower injector or something like that

What is real?

I guess anything you can put on your car that isnt there stock is aftermarket. There might not be a "kit" of parts for your car, but there are deffinetly parts. You could do some headwork, lighter flywheel nice sticky clutch etc. Maby there isnt a website for your car but there sure as hell are some parts out there
