the 1990-1993 versions (NA6C) have the B6ZE 1.6L. the 1994-up (NA8C, NB8C) have the BPZE 1.8L engine.

that was canadian funds.
So that works out to about... $12.50USD right? j/k
$10KCAD is a bit high for a 1990. As stated above, expect to spend about $3000-4000USD for an excellent condition 1990 or 1991. You could get a great condition '94 or '95 for the price of that '90.

The market up here is obviously quite different. Most adds I see for 90-91 Miata's in good condition up here are a hair under 10k, with ones needing work around 6-7k. Its a good sellers market for Miata's up here.

I don't know much about miatas, but I thought the new ones had the 2.0l?

So Richard, what are the differences in weights of them? Is there any that are significantly lighter then others?

If you could pick any one of the Miatas over the years, and looks didn't count which one would you pick and why?
