I wish Mazda and Subaru would merge

ahhh, that would be sweet. Mazda's design/handling with the power of a subaru. Maybe in 2012, when subaru can make a nice looking car, I'd get one, but not now.

Wow, this was random, maybe this should go into off-topic...

The Pro5 would be nifty with AWD.

Gold Wheels plus Subaru's Rally Blue color is a beautiful combination. i'm surprised they stopped selling them like that.

I just wish the P5 had the same seats as the WRX. My god those are comfortable.

Mazda did make a 4WD sports wagon (looked a tiny bit like the P5, but more rugged lookin), just that they never brought it to North America... it was only ever out in Europe/Austrailia i believe...

I couldn't tell you, when I see a WRX I'm not only seeing the car's exterior, I'm also seeing the AWD, the seats, the momo steering wheel, the rally action and the 227hp just to name a few.

Saw the new "Baja" up close the other day. It's exactly as fugly as the pictures suggest! The El Camino returns!

Also saw what I can only describe as a "creme orange" colored WRX (on the orange side of Tonka yellow). What's with car makers painting the cars in the colors of boxed chocolate fillings? (See also Suzuki yellow Aerio)

Try looking under Fuji Heavy Industries, although GM now has a stake in Subaru.

And Mazda does make some awfully good cars. They just don't import them (f'in Ford).

You know what would be really cool? An MP5 without ground effects. [5 seconds pause] hahaha.
