I think my new muffler might sound like ***...
Bought a new muffler for my P5 from NOPI. It has a 4.5 inch end on it, man it is big. I am very worried that this thing is going to sound like a teenager in a Honduh.
Guess I can just take it off if it does.
Buying mufflers is so hit and miss, never know what it is going to sound like!

The thing that seperates this board from others is that for the most part if people don't have any kind of constructive comment....they don't say anything. I was one of the 12 views and I thought to myself "yeah, he's pretty much right...hit or miss."
Now what would be the point in me posting that?
Give it time, you'll get the flow of how this forum works!!

I was also one of the 12 views, and thought the same thing. I also thought, wow, you didn't realize the muffler you ordered had a 4.5" tip?! But it not's really constructive to post that, either.
As has been said before, part of the reason this forum SEEMS quieter than others, is that most people don't use it as a chat room. I personally prefer the layout of this board better, and the replies you usually get tend to have more accurate info in them rather than a bunch of fluff. Also, I'm on a dial-up connection at home, and this board runs MUCH faster than the others, although even at work on my dedicated T-1 line I can notice a real difference between them.

Ceej your car does have a resonator...its in the exhaust piping right underneath your passenger seats...some people call it a "pre-muffler"...leave it = deep tone...remove it = bumblebee in a tin can.
