Okay....I have seen a LOT in my years on this earth....and especially since I was in the navy and traveled all over the world...you see some REALLY starange goings on in other courntries.......

I KNOW that in the world of advertising that you can find in nearly every facet of nearly any product where the ad agency uses SEX to sell things....to apeal to MEN....I think this product has taken it just a TAD far....okay the site isn't in english...its Italian....bring up this site...and scroll to the BOTTOM set of links and check them out....

Granted, I believe the way italians view a death is a little different then the way we view it, the calendar just is wrong. And I wonder if those pornstars know their likenesses are being used in that way!

Yea, that's pretty freaking bad... Especialyl when they just cut/paste models... Then again I dont' know too many models that would have to stoop THAT low.

There is a NEWS section on YAHOO that has ODD things in the news....it was there. Usually there is some funny stuff there....I just found this disturbing.

 

OMG!!!! It IS disturbing...not funny at all!!! I personally find it very offensive too...I mean I'm really sensitive to anything that has to do with death, so this is just....well, disgusting....OMG!!! I can't even believe someone would do something like that...

Now, I admit I don't know much about the italian culture..but there's something very disrespectful about that calender....

I noticed someone posted something about 'reverance for the dead"
For one thing, those caskets are likely empty (did you notice the nice hand-carved accents?). Second, reverance should be for the living, the dead are, well....dead.
It's not like necrophylia is occurring (though even in that case, the dead are still dead and not likely to complain).

I think the dead would like this. I have sean more offensive thing on a coffin. like Elvis there is a company that will put your favorite team logo on the coffin. now that's it bad tast. this this is great. Did you see thier coffin calendar. now that was nice.
