Talking I saw a Taurus Type-R today!!!

HEHE, I just thought it was funny, I saw an old style Taurus today, and it had TYPE-R written in big letters on the side, along with a picture of a rally flag and some stuff..at least it was an SHO!

I thought you only see that kind of sticker / decal power on imports!!! Funny stuff...OK, carry on

Speaking of Taurus. I saw one, like '88 or something. It didn't have Type-r badge but it had a yellow atomic or nuclear badge from a Honda. The car is silver and all other stickers are yellow, looks ugly as hell, especially a big AIP (or whatever) sticker on the back window. I thought it was "redneck-rice"

Man thats nothing. I was on I95 about two weeks ago and saw a V6 mustang with a big *** V-TEC sticker along both sides of the car. HAHAHA me and my boy were like look at this shmuck. Felt like slapping some sense into that idiot. Some people are clueless.

When I used to work for Disney like 6 years ago there used to be a black on black dodge neon with 5.0 emblem 's on the fenders. Be on the look out for this V8 monster.

as long as the exhaust note didn't warrent it.....I would make sure before I laughed too loud.....after all....it wouldn't be the first wolf in sheeps colthing out there. I have seen more than my fair share of V-8's stuffedn nicely into econoboxes.

HOWEVER....if its BS....the guy should be flogged!

Factory wheels, factory 4 cyl oil pan, factory suspension. I think its deffinately floggin time. I agree I also have seen econos with V8's. But this wasnt one of them. I had a buddy who had a Fiero with a 32v Northstar V8 shoehorned in the back. It look completely stock from the outside unless you looked under the car or if the car was started. DId I mention it hauled @$$.

What exaclty does Type R mean? Is it a model type, like SE or DX or LE? or is it a type of mod like Racing Beat, etc?

Dont flame me, ive always seen Type R around, just didnt know where it originated, etc...

different.

these are the only REAL type-r vehicles:
civic type r
integra type r
accord euro r
torneo euro r

while the last two are not labeled "type r", they are close.
