....after all the theft that's happened to me, I really hope they catch the person that broke into your pride and joy. Some of these bastards need to experience the humiliation that is long due to them. Like I said, you never know, your MP3 player could turn up on E-Bay.... keep your serial number handy, and take a look for any that pop up in your area.

...The other thing I thought about was, how stupid to smash out the rear window! After breaking into the (passenber side?) door, all they would have to do is hit the unlock button to get in to the rear! Not at all necessary. I think they must have did that just to be mean.

Any reason you can't keep it in the garage, after she's fixed?

She's usually in the garage...such a pity that "special projects" kept her outside for the night, huh?

Sorry I'm late, I haven't been able to check out the forums in a while. I am TRULY sorry for you. No one deserves that, and to especially do that to such a nice car? You obviously have a garage... no offense, but why did you have it outside? You have so much money invested in the car and all... Anyway, I am real sorry, my car is crying for yours. Good luck with the rebuild, at least you can take this opportunity to change any grievences with the car that you may have had... Keep your chin up and rise above these bastards.

Jeff

I feel your pain, some one sliced the window on my Jeep to get $8 in quarters. They could have just unzipped the window. But I then had to spen $250 to replace window because the guy was an idiot.

I thought that all the P5's had alarm systems. I upgraded mine but I though they all had one standard. The second I hear an alarm go off I out looking around for anyone running. The neighbors 3 year always sets off their car alarm and it drives me nuts. Again I sorry you had to go through that and good luck on the rebuild.

Nope, no alarm. However, I do have one now...it's pretty neat with the 2-way pager and all that. Just too little too late in my case! I'm anxious to see my car again, but the body shop is still waiting on parts! Apparently the A-piller trim and the center console pieces aren't stocked anywhere in this area of the country

I will never have a car without an alarm. I know it won't stop the pro's but it is a deterent for the rookies.

Are you going to change the set up in the car now that it's in the rebuilding process? Or are you going back to what you had?

Back to the same, but the head unit is "this year's model". I'm going to wait to have everything put back in until I get the panel with the push button starter and switches.

I'm a ricer
