In other news...today I had an MRI done on my head. BANG BANG BANG, BOOM BOOM BOOM. With and without contrast, meaning that for 1/2 of the test, they injected dye into my arm. I also had an EEG done...to test my brain waves. I have really bad chronic headaches.


It was an expensive day, thank God for insurance

How long have you been getting those headaches?

 

Sorry to hear about that. My ex got some wicked migraines, she had all kinds of tests done and they never figured it out. I hope your docs are able to do some good for you.

 

I've been getting bad ones for about 5 years now! They don't really respond well to anything. Sometimes I have a headache every day for a week. It really sucks. My dr. finally said "why don't we send you to a neurologist?" So I went. He's the one that is ordering all these expensive tests.

 

That seems to be what neurologists do, but they never have any answers. I was glad I had good insurance as well, otherwise if would have been a huge expense. Not too sure how the ex paid for her end of it when she was on COBRA.
