An Idea that I wish we had

We need heated mirrors, somehow someway there's gotta be one. I hate when you gotta drive in the morning and there's frost n fog on your mirrors. The MPV has heated mirrors n the fog n frost come right off in a matter of minutes. Does anyone know of a way to get them or where? Thanks.

Yes, a lot of cars in Japan have mirrors that fold in with a press of a button (luxury cars here stateside are starting to have that "new" feature also; the Japanese have this for the past 20 years).
Too bad the JDM housings put the mirrors at the wrong angle. You'll have to turn them all the way out and you'll still have to lean all the way back to see out of them. Replacing the glass won't work either, the JDM ones are optimized for viewing from the other side of the car.

Japan has had this mirror because there isn't enough room for parking . Taking a foot of the car you can park in tighter spaces

You should be able to swap out the heater, but the power folding mechanism won't swap over. They look similar, but they're different on the inside. Already tried. BTW, the JDM folding mirrors either power fold or are heated, but not both.

Mine -99 Pro has heated mirrors and they are STOCK. Finnish P5's have heated mirrors so they are available, ask the dealer or order from Finnish junk yard

Well that's the smiley for

Cargo and taxes and tolls and what so ever might be pretty high. There were used gen3 electric mirrors for ~86 USD (www.autovahinkokeskus.fi) Unfortunately that site is in Finnish so i guess it's no use for you .

But how about your dealer there?
