I guess I'm the F.N.G.

Hope you Mazda guys don't mind a little Nissan infiltration.

That's right, I drive a Maxima... but my two best friends each drive Protege ES 2.0's, so I thought I'd jump into the mix over here as well. If you're interested in returning the favor, my usual home is www.maxima.org.

Ok, ok... let the pie throwing begin!!!

Thanks TrexPro5. Hey... my sister is in Columbus, and believe it or not, I will be up there this weekend for my niece's first birthday! I'll be in the Brice Rd. area, and probably around Easton Town Center Mall quite a bit. Small world.

Watch out for the Green Max with Tennessee tags!!!

Thumbs up Cool

People are apt to rip on you for it, but I've already said that, for years, Nissan built much better standard engines (i.e. NOT rotary) than Mazda ever did. Based thereon, and in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with mentioning Nissan here!

Our FS-DE's are reliable engines, but they're comparatively primitive-- That's why Mazda is replacing them with the MZR's come the next generation Protege (aka Mazda3).

This is why I'm here, if you guys are interested...

Like I said, my two friends both drive 2002 ES 2.0's (one silver, one black), and I decided that, instead of searching the entire internet to try and help them mildly mod their cars, I would do what I did with my Max and try to join the best Protege forum I could find, and start to learn what the REAL owners have to say. I can honestly say that I've learned more from the maxima.org than I ever knew about cars before.

Anyway, now, when they start asking me questions about springs, intakes, clear lenses, etc..., I can come here and pester you guys about it until I have an answer for them!

I'm going to try to convince BOTH of them to join the club as well, so they can learn a little bit too.

I'm not here to rip on anyone, or to throw around "Maxima's are the shiznit" quotes (well... not all the time, anyway). I'm here to listen and learn, and to have a little fun with some fellow car enthusiasts!

Sorry so long... just wanted to let you all know what I'm about.

p.s.-- TrexPro5... we're (whole family) supposed to be going to some place called GameWorks on Saturday evening. Know anything about it?

Game-Works rocks. Really fun, if any of you guys are under 21 they kick you out after 9 or 10pm though, not sure if a parent is with you. Its like a Chuckie-Cheese for adults! Drink, Games, etc you will enjoy yourself. Ive been there a few times, it only gets better the more beer you have!! (just make sure you have a DD )

Hello SG01maxSE, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

WE have a mutual friend.....imagine that....what a small world...

well I say we do....a very good frined of mine drives a maxima too....and he is one of the Mods of your board (maxima.org) .....to be honest I don't remember his screen name there.....I would mention his real name but he might not appreciate that....lol ANYWAY....welcome and tell your buddies to get on in here.....we are a very helpful bunch.
