ohh okay.. I still feel lazy though b/c I know how dirty it is all the time

I really need to go clean it right now as a matter of fact b/c my pepsi bottle "fizzed" everywhere.. I "cleaned" it a lil bit but its still sticky ... so I think Im gonna go clean that now

I need to start cleaning out the inside of mine more often now cause of all the dry leaves that are falling and then sticking to my shoes everytime I get in the car. They can sure make a mess.

Green is such a difficult color to keep reasonably clean (because it only looks good for about 1-2 days after cleaning unless its dark outside - but then again my paint is super abused from the urban driving and parking..

I try to clean the car once a week, interior maybe every 2-3 weeks if I can (problem I've had recently is I don't have a big extension cord anymore for the shop vac right now).. I try to baby the interior so much though and as far as exterior I tell people not to touch/lean on the car.. I HATE FINGERPRINTS and dents! they're evil!

After winter I'm gonna find a paintless dent removal person as I've got at least 15 dents/creases on my car that are fixable.. its PATHETIC.

I wish I treated the car well early on when I first had it, back then.. it was my first new car so it isn't exactly in perfect shape

but when I here the words car wash....i get so damn lazy and just sit aorund....but then when I wanna go out..I tell my mom that I want to take it to a manual car wash....and I go....but then when I come home wihtout it beeing washed...she definately suspects something. hehe

but my car is washed almost once a week..maybe most 1 1/2 weeks of going non washed...but interior is cleaned like never lol

my mom does that whenever she gets the chance....I just do the exterior cleaning, hehe, too lazy to haul a vacuum around to clean it, hehe , so I'll say once a month of interior cleaning...

Yeah I know what you mean about the rain. The weather forcasters should just monitor when I get my car wash and say the next day it will rain. I have the worst luck with that.

full detail every 2 weeks from a friend of mine... wash/dry/polish/wax, interior cleaned/vaccuumed/armor-all'd, engine bay cleaned thoroughly, etc etc etc...

i like to give it a good wash once or twice a week to get all the crud off.

on a side note: I used to have an A/T Miata and i noticed that my wheels were always dingier than an alley cat. After I got the P5 (MT) i have noticed that my wheels never have even a speck of dirt/brake dust on them. so i kind of have a theory
my Miata - A/T - dirty wheels
my best bud's 3000GT - M/T - clean wheels
my friend's Supra - A/T - nasty wheels
my friend's RX-7 - A/T - dirty wheels
my mom's CR-V - A/T - dirty wheels
my MP5 - M/T - shiny, clean wheels

has it occurred to anyone else that cars without the ol' stick shift tend to dirty up their wheels faster?

Maybe the body shop did not line up the hinge probably on the passenger side door, so this may be the reason why you are getting a leak. I'm sorry, I am still thinking about an old thread that you posted Foxy.

And I just washed my car last night.

Do you have people who lean on the door when it is open. They probably shifted the hinge. Check the hinge around the bolts and see if it has been shifted down. (their should be cracked paint or some rust if it has shifted).

5SPEED5 also wants to help...but more likely help himself

Just kidding.
