Honda is copying every thing!!!

Check out these pic and tell if Honda is being original.
First this is Mazda 6, and a J-spec Honda Accord:
vs and
Also the new Altima and a US-spec Accord:
vs
And tell me that there is no similarities there? Honda should be sued! IMO

The S-spec looks like the styles of Acuras which came out before the Mazda6

<activate sarcasm>

Honda Accords with extremely derivative styling?!? Never! Couldn't be!!!

<deactivate sarcasm>

Heck, the only Accord that Honda's ever built that didn't look like a bunch of other cars were the 86-89 models (the ones with the cool pop-up headlights) and the 98-02 coupe (from the rear only). The Honda Accord is targeted at people who want an appliance, not a car. Most dishwashers and clothes dryers all look the same, too.

But yeah, the similarity between the J-spec sedan and the Mazda 6 is kinda excessive.

The rear is similar to their designed RSX:

Here is the civic front. No one noticed that the grill on the 6 is similar =)

Here is the front of the Acura CL

So they made the headlights narrower on the '03 accord.

I mean.. they are similar.. but almost all car designs (at least the non-daring but good looking ones) have influences from everywhere.

It's hard to really expect a totally original design.

Now.. DON'T call me a honda boy. I have no biases towards any manufacturer. If it looks good.. it looks good. If it looks like a monkey's ***, it is.

But sometimes pride in your own vehicles manufacturers make people act like the stereotypical "hondaboy" ( (H) )

No need to raise a panic on that design =)

What do you think the HONDA designers came up with those idea's themselves....the only ideas they came up with was putting a damn lawnmower engine in all their cars......so much power what am I going to do with all that!!!!

You know it probably does not matter what the heck Honda does as I could care less. I have my wonderful MAZDA P5 and love it as I am sure most of us do (I am including you Protege owners too ). Plus I can't tell those silly Honda things apart anyway and I have to check the back to figure out which model it is, seesh!!! Zoom-Zoom.........
