my g/f has a 02 eclipse GS and she pays $340/month for the car and 190/month for insurance. the payoff as of monday is over $13,000 and the trade in value is only $9,000... if that. what have i gotten myself into?? anybody wanna buy a slightly used eclipse for $13,000????

yeah, I coulda told you not to buy a mtisu...their resale value sucks harder then the people who broke into Karen's p5.

 

the thing is a p.o.s. she doesn't take care of it. told me the other week that the oil needed changed.... back in september. looks as though i'm gonna have to take a hit on this thing and get rid of it. i'd have an outrageous car paymnet but at least i'd be saving about $800-1000 a year on insurance

 

geez, my payments are only $269/month ~$83/month insurance on an '03

 

yeah but we're talking completely different cars and not to mention the fact that she got *** raped when she got the car cuz she had no idea what she was doing. she just wanted the car and that was all that mattered. she failed to see the big picture and now i'm reaping the consequences

you can always get a bit more selling it to another private party, and I'm actually really happy now that my car's trade in is less than $2000 away from what I owe, and PPV is actually almost exactly what I owe
