Guy Troubles.

Ok, i figured since this board contains mostly male members i could get some good advice here. I was just wondering what kind of qualities do guys usually look for in a girl. Im talking about personality wise as well as outer appearance. Im sure people will have their diff opinions but i want to hear them. I am having trouble finding guys and i am wondering what i am doing wrong or what not. so any help is much apprecitated, thanks!!!

How about a picture first, then we'll see how important the personality needs to be.

You asked for a guy's opinion so there it is. You did want honesty, right?

These are my ideas and feelings. Not meant to be in general.

Me, for appearance: cute in the face, thick in the waste. (I like big butts and I can not lie ) Not too skinny and not over wieght either.

Personality: She definitely has to have a sense of humor and can't be shy. If you're too shy, it'll make guys time with you boring. I am strongly attracted to beautiful eyes and a playful female.
And rudeness is a HUGE turn off for me. You can look like J-Lo and if you're rude I can give a rats *** about you. Even if you're not, try to seem interested in what he's talking to you about or showing you.
Another turn-off for me is when a girl boast how independant they are and say how much they don't need a man. It's cool that a girl can support themselves, but don't go around making it look like a male is worthless to you. (Like that stupid Destiny's Child video)
Another thing, never try to use the jealousy tactic to get a guy, or at least not me. I'll just ignore a girl for good if I feel she's trying to do that.

I may edit this as time goes on.

I know that I always looked for "real" women.

Girls who are not too "needy" - like, you can take care of yourself. I mean, guys still like to be the hero and all, but I think most want a girl who can handle her own business day to day.

Being yourself is most important. I can say that I have known relatively unattractive women (physically) who were so cool and had such a great personality that it made them beautiful.

I myself do not like fake anything - the less makeup, the better. Jeans and a T-shirt - to me - is waaaaayy better and cooler than trying too hard to be "sexy" - you know the type. And I don't even want to get to know a girl who has had plastic surgery of any kind (other than maybe after an accident, or for medical reasons; like breast REDUCTION if they're frigging huge) - if you've got fake ****, go away.

I'm just stating my opinions - and I think anyone worth hanging out with will not be very concerned with petty physical attributes - genuine attraction does not require model-looks.

Of course, all this is moot for me - I already have my lady:

Married almost 5 months.

I agree with this a lot too. I'm not really feeling females who load their faces with make-up. Like HH said, the less the better. Be relaxed sometimes also. Wearing jeans and a T isn't a bad thing. It's better than trying to fake and look sexy.

Princess - you look like a cutie yourself!

Just get out there and have fun - don't worry about what guys think. If some guy is on to you, and you get the sense he's a phony or whatever - move on. You're young, and you've got plenty of hearts to break.

Be the boss! Don't sweat it - relax, and let 'em come to you. And only take the ones that you get a good feeling about. Let the others buy you drinks, and give them a fake number. Guys are frigging dumb - just abuse 'em until you find the right one.

you have trouble finding guys?

do you goto an all girls school or something?

If only I was younger. You aren't on medication for any
psychological issues right? Maybe they're all too shy
to talk to you. Do you try to take the 1st step or wait
for them?

No clinging to them. Don't insist on talking every waking
hour of they day together. Don't go psycho jealous if
he maybe glances at someone else. Don't whack him in
the head for no good reason. Realize that you both still
have your own lives and don't need to do every stinking
thing together.

well at least from personal experience that's whats driven
me away from a few. especially getting whacked in the
head with big objects.

Truth is, its whats on the outside that gets the attention, but its the personality that will keep them in your arms...sure she may be hot, but she could be as dumb as a stick and just not click with you...so I guess it would take a little bit of both, and all guys are different, it all depends on what he looks for, what one person might find attractive, another might not...thats just my 2 cents on this...however I still dont understand why you are having guy problems ...but what pr5owner says is true, usually the good ones are taken...which is why Im confused....

I dont know how old you are, you look pretty young. You will have to excuse me for this generalization but you have PLENTY of time to look for guys etc. Seriously, guys are scum most of us on here can attest to that. :P Anyway, Im pretty young myself, ripe age of 22.
As for getting a certain guy to notice you, make eye contact, and smile a lot. Be yourself and if things arnt fun its not worth it. These are just my opinions, Im pretty young myself but I have been through high school and I know what its like. Hope that helps... at all.
