I came home from work today and on my desk was sitting a letter from Gray Davis congratulating me on winning a $1000 scholarship for scoring in the top 5% in the state on some tests I took at school last year.

Now here's the kicker:
Yesterday I had to go to a parent-teacher-student conference to get yelled at for not going to class and doing very poorly in school.

I was thinking of taking that letter and showing it to my teacher to shut her up. But then she'd probably call up the scholarship people and ask them wtf they're doing.

Teh irony = great.

P.S. So far I have $3500 in scholarships from some random tests that they make you take. Amazingly, my GPA has been on a steady decline. roofles

 

What kind of tests give you scholarships like that? What is your GPA at right now? Congrats on the money though!

 

My overall GPA is 2.63, my GPA for last semester is 0.6

Go figure
