Hey you know I hit 146.5 with the 12W7 and the 500/1...

Well I want to compete Db Drag Racing circuit.. Do you think I should boost 45Hz with +3db on the amp?? Dangerous or not??

I feel the amp can hold it, but I'm not sure.. Also what do you think is the best thing i can do to get my spl up around 150.. I want to keep the box, because I want to enjoy it everyday.. So it's pretty much coming down to purchase another 12w7, or double the power..

What do you think man.. I was thinkin bout buying another HO12w7 and 500/1 and just sitting it in the back seat when competing to get around 150.. Funny huh.. Wouldn't that be halarious??

Anyways, let me know what you think.. Or do you really think I can get higher buy maybe using another box, but with that sub it's gonna have to be pretty big i'm assuming.. Right?

Since you underpowering your sub the 1000/1 is a better idea then a new box.
The real advantages of the 12W7 aren't really present until 1000 watts.

Tested - Local shops, Local comps
Music pushing - 46Hz Burp (Play for 1-2 seconds)

I'm not underpowering the sub, the sub is not driven into distortion at 146.5db.. I would say it's not being underpowered. We can say it can handle a lot more power, and even sound better with the additional power.

Infrasonic Filter - 43Hz
Crossover - 48Hz
Box - JL's HO box, tuned to 31Hz
