lara, i understand your discontent with the subject matter, but somebody asked, and we're responding. IMHO, i will ignore the fact you had any input into this topic matter. Bruce didn't ask a stupid question, it's just a viscious part of life he's bringing up. relationships are a love-hate game... i hate my girlfriend from time to time for the stupid things she does, but i love her moreso for the great things she does in her life. it's just that, what if you invest 2 years of your life into somebody, have the picture book boy-meets-girl relationship, then, suddenly you're alone because of your best friend, or someone else takes what you worked for away from you. you spend time enough with the person that they become a part of you and you become a part of them, then it's all gone! i mean, i've had friends in this type of situation, and the sad reality is that people never forget someone special. and your comments lead me to believe 1 of 2 things, either all of your relationships you've had are superficial, have no substance, and don't mean a thing... or you're just a heartless, compassionless individual. i'm not telling some guy to write a ****** book about his failure, but we all grow in and out of relationships till we hopefully find something that truely matters! have you ever been along this path yourself, or what's your story?? did you just suddenly find the 'right' guy and that was that? anyway, as i've learned growing up with a sister and my mother, this is ****** retarded argument is going no where, as in, i'm always going to be wrong.

(well, that is directed to you laracroft 'cause you the only girl arguing here)....We guys are just trying to have some fun. Most of us here (correct me if i am wrong) are in no relationship or had a past relation ship that went down hill and we blame the chick. so we vent. it is not like we will go out and kick a chick with **** on her face in the middle of the night. What we are doing is using some of our sick imagination and applying it to the forum....lol.. But seriously, there is nothing to be offended off. I have also seen you post in the other thread about why chicks choose dumb dudes. It is something in our lives that we are venting about, and honestly, you just came in at the wrong time. never in this "peacefull and harmonic" community have we ever talked about this subject. but, now is the time I guess.
What I am trying to say is, that we are having a bit of fun. some if it comes from frustration from real world experiences(which I can relate to, not a date in a ******* YEAR!!!!!)---->I blame that on studying for pharm school, but still what a lame excuse!......and the other part comes out from just having a good time. in the end, we turn off the computer and go and work and do our stuff.

on a side note.....as stated before, this is the off topic forum, so everything goes.......the rest of the site is totally devoted to cars........I believe the car behind you is the toyota corrola type S, correct me if i am wrong. HALO RULES, can't wait for HALO 2

Hey, there are other females I know that watch this site but hardly post (especially with THIS kind of subject matter) but they aren't going to jump on here. Yes, you guys kinda have a tendancy to scare most women away and even at car shows, there arent that many that represent. I've been around cars all my life and grew up with having men around on a constant basis. I've had everything from a Honda, Nissan, VW, Ford and Toyota. When you get to almost 30 yrs old, you've kinda driven everything there is to drive. lol I even had an 1995 Acura Integra in Japan and unfortunetly, couldn't bring it back state-side. (still VERY unhappy about that). I'm really not easily offended, especially when you're the only women in a Marine Corps unit with 200+ males. I've heard EVERYTHING before. I've seen MANY relationships go sour and it's not always pretty. But let's try to at least respect the "other species". Ask any woman and she'll tell you... "all men are *****es". But of course, that also comes from bad relationships as well. Everyone is gonna have that one special relationship that REALLY sucked ***. But, oh well....thats why you have a project car. Makes the miserable time fly by faster and you can always turn the car off when you're tired of driving or listening to it. lol

No Disrespect to the ladies (Good policy), they will usually win an arguement due to male pride interfereing. Not to dump on guy, and I am not looking to get into a flame war or pick a battle with anyone.

As far as military bashing, becareful, they usually are good people, just need more respect. I am not a military person, but I do have alot of friends in there, and it has done them a world of good.
