i can smell the rice now

*edit*

I just went back and watched the preview
and
I am not racist, but I find it very wierd that the "black" guy is having to tell the "white" guy what drift is? not to mention in TOKYO...now like i said, im not trying to be racist, but that just sets me wierd...

that movie looks retarded, tho ill more than likely watch it for the heck of it..

Looks dumb as hell, some of the cars looks sweet but the storyline is definately going to be worthless ...

I watch it for the drifting not for the story also the second car drifting uphill in the last few seconds is a Falken sponsered car, its a s13 that appered on Formula D in G4tv dont know if they will let the orginal driver drift it in the movie

and yet, they still love to destroy skylines for some odd reason.

Now people are gonna think they will have good drifting skillz if they wear big silver chains and watches and HUGE clothing....bah..a new generation of ricer...yay!!!!

This movie looks....Oh what's that word...?

OH YEAH, TERRIBLE!!!!!!! No offense, but friggin' "Bow Wow" is one of the lead roles! When the pic came up with him sitting next to that white guy I just started cracking up. The only decent thing about this movie looks to be the Vielside RX-7 and Skylines. Oh yeah, "the cars are lighter, the tires are slick." Apparently thats drifting, but if I'm not mistaken, that's RACING! I think I'm going to go to opening night, and not to see the movie, just to see how many ricers show up to see it...If I remember, I'll bring my camera and post pics!

Damn these movies....Damn these movies to hell! Making all these once lesser known cool cars well know to this Ricey generation....I hate being a part of it! I liked tuning and everything long before my friends, and now they all think they know everything. There's probably three of us who actually know what were talking about! Example; My friend drives a manual '92 BMW 325i. Other friend with I believe a manual '98 BMW 328is told the first friend he was getting his car serviced, getting a bunch of stuff done, including tranny fluid changed. Friend 1 proceeds to claim that manual cars don't need tranny fluid. We proceed to walk away and not talk to him anymore. He was annoying enough, and that was the last straw!

HOLY CRAP.....End rant.....

hahahaha- The F&F movies so far have really made this sport what it is today- granted there were people out there modding imports before the movie, yes, but the movies brought a whole other side to it. I have been going to the drag tracks all my life and been racing since I was 15... I just was never into imports until We got the Protege in 02...Since then I have built two LS/VTEC's, installed numerous turbo kits, and played with all sorts of different imports and domestic sport compacts. I still love the sound of a well built V8, but my favorite moment was beating my old 450hp Mustang at our local track with my LS on a 75 shot at the street legals last year...

In the end these movies made our sport what they are today- and I will definately go and watch it. Why- of course to make fun of them when they say ooooh I need a Sr20 for my civic, integra, and DSM... Or the funniest line ever- 2JZ NO ****!!!. Really though- movies are for entertainment value- they will never get it right.

What I think is funny- is all the people who take these movies so serious whether thinking everything said is 100% truth- or are so desperately against them that they cant just sit back and have a laugh... Hell I cracked up too when I saw lil Bow Wow was in it- makes me want to see it even more- lmfao

Yeah when i saw bw next to that white guy, i started laughing soo hard.
I honestly think that the movie should just be considered a comedy...then it would sell more....
