Ouch.

That makes me wish there was a "Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Automobiles" or something. That guy's punishment would be to drive a beige '83 Skylark for a year...

Actually, maybe this sort of notoriety is punishment enough...

If I were him, here's what I'd be thinking...
1) "Stupid ricer."
Then...
2) "Oh $%^*@&#!! Those flying engine parts are going to hit my $50,000 car and scratch the paint!!"

BTW just to comment on the "not racing" factor... I've known several people who owned expensive European sports cars (Porsches and M3's) and have told me that one of the #1 irritations of driving one is that fact that every teenage punk with a Mustang, Integra or DSM with a loud muffler tries to race you. Most of them got sick of this in, oh, 3-4 days, and would make a purposeful attempt to accelerate SLOWLY so that any cops would be able to clearly see that they were NOT racing. It's likely that the M3 driver heard them standing on the limiter and just sat there and let them go.

My dad used to have Taurus SHO...Every week he'd complain about some stupid kid peeling out next to him.

The scary thing about an idiot like this? Just imagine how many other videotapes he has when something DIDN'T blow up.

Well, at least he's off the road, until Mommy and Daddy buy him a new engine.
