When I first saw this commercial for the new 2002 Suzuki Aerio, I was like WTF?!@!!

Where they trying to copy Mazda Zoom Zoom commercial for the P5 minus the Zoom Zoom song? The car looks like some sort of Toyota Echo/Ford Focus Wagon crossover.

Is it just me, or does this car looks like ****?

the wagon looks like something that passed through a weiner dog and was put on wheels and painted yellow as some sort of weird joke. the sedan however... (from the commercial) looked alright. i have yet to see one irl.

 

it seems the p5 set the standard against which all other will be judged, and nothing seems to compare.

yes. i vote for "looks like ****."

 

Well, i guess if someone had a gun to my head, I would pick the sedan... lol

 

what does **** me off it Mazda saying the MPV has the body of a mini-van and the soul of a sports car
They compare every car in their lineup to the miata and the MPV couldn't be more different than a miata.

Oh, and I think Suzuki is aiming for the Aztek crowd with this new platform.

 

yep....can't even get close to comparing.......Just look at the stupid thing....its too tall....too fat looking....ALL of the cars that are ATTEMPTING to get in on the P-5's market just don't get it close.....their proportions are all wrong and they end up looking fat and the ration of car size to the wheels is all wrong....makes them all look like they are rolling on 13 inch wheels or something like that.....just don't look right at all.

 

I agree with Nuke, you've got these tiny-tiny wheels... it looks like one of those kid plastic go-cart things... and then the side panels are really tall and the windows are really short.

If you ask me, it looks like an MP5 humped a new Beetle, and this is what came out.

 

Another thing that REALLY pisses me off is that noone ever gives PROPS to Mazda for bringing this style back to the market. They call the P5 a sport wagon, and the Matrix/Vibe/Suzuki POS a SUV/Sedan/Hatchback mix. I NEVER hear them talking about the P5, or never read about it in articles. One thing that makes it all ok is that it makes our cars look better since there are less on the road!

 

yea i saw a comercial for itand they stated better acceleration then a ford focus and handles better then a honda civic....i find that pretty funny
