Unhappy damn minivan!! accident

news update dumb bitch in a mini van cut me off sideswiped my car and tried to evade me by try8iing to race off.
me and a new p5 in town were crusing side by side and then he got in front of me and the lady almost hit him and then she swiped into me and my girlfriend. of course we got minor injuries but my car is fucked so im probably gonna have to geta rental for hot import nights . here is a list of the damage so far that i can see and tell by driving it home. front bumper, driversside fender, driversside door, passenger side air bag cover is popped up. i was wondering sine the air bag cover was only partially opened up is there a problem with my air bag system we were going about 30-35mph and she hit us on the drivers side. it seems wierd to me cause nothing hit it cause we were both wearing our seat belts. also anyideas on the price to fix? i heard it costs a ton a few thousand to replace the airbags.

Did you get a rough estimate of the cost of damage yet? Curious to see how expensive it is.. I remember when I got my accident with my 98 Pro, the costs were $6000 just for the front (hood, bumber, frame).

I hope nothin will happen to my new p5 though!!

Damn cell phones!

PS: Not only chicks.. guys too!

Damn that sucks man. You have to watch out for those idiots they have no respect for the road and other peoples rides. I hope you got her tag or something. You should make that bitch pay for the damage. I had someone key and kick my door on my p5 only 1 month after i had bought it i was so pissed it wasnt even funny. Thank god i know someone that works at body shop, you cant even tell it was damaged, just like new again. Good luck man .

Try and get money for the depreciation of the car as well. I don't know much about htis, but someone else mentioned it on the board

carfax doesn't report minor accidents (that would be considered minor by it's dollar value), for the most part..

my car had about $7,000 of damage previously in a reported crash and there's no record of it on carfax.. (this was well over a year ago and I carfaxed it a week or so ago..)

carfax can however check police reports sometimes so on the rear axle of a toyota cressida we got at a junkyard while I still had my carfax account we found out the car "fell off a hill and flipped over" .. according to a police report.

good luck.
