corksport issues?

corksport issues?

omg, these guys are f-ing with me. i've been waiting a month for a SHIFT **** (not like it's a major mechanical part or anything). i finally called them last week to figure out what's up, they tell me there was a problem w/ the address on my credit card. gee, thanks for TELLING ME. they tell me it's straightened out and they'll send me a tracking # when it ships. after a week, no shift **** and no tracking #. after almost a half hour on the phone tonight, i FINALLY get a tracking #, and guess what... according to fed ex, whatever this bullshit number was for was delivered to san hose, ca on tuesday, and it weighed 30 pounds (obviously not my shift ****).

anyone want to take bets whether i ever get my shift **** or not?

has anyone ever had problems with corkshit - i mean sport - before? i had planned on ordering more parts (cams and such) from them, but not anymore. i've had better customer service on ebay.

anyone know where else i can get jdm parts?

- a disgruntled customer

well, i know how you feel. problem is that corksport just has one store (if it's a store, it may just be an office) and it's in oregon. they do their business online. and they sell a LOT of jdm parts for protege's/familia's. i was hoping to buy a lot of parts from them cause i don't know where else to get them. oh well, if i ever get my shift **** i'll give them one more shot, but i'll do everything over the phone instead of online.

btw foxy - the rims look nice. it's amazing how much you can change the look of a car with just rims. i'm gettin mine next week...

ps - is that hamster a roadkill?

I ordered a strut bar and some wireloom, along with my clear corner lenses all 2nd day and the 2nd day came and went with no boxes, not even a phone call. So I call them up ragining pissed off telling them I want my damn money back and the guy on the phone told me the lenses and strut bar are backordered so they never put the order through not even for my wire loom. And I was like WTF is wrong with you people you can't even tell me?? I order stuff and was willing to pay extra money to get it here fast and you don't even have the dignity to call or contact me about my order when you have all of my info. A week later I got an e-mail saying that it was backordered and to call if I wanted to get the wire loom. I was like screw that.
So anyway I went to Augusta GA to meet with a fellow pro member and he took me to the towns NOPI store there because I had never been to one and it was there that I actually got good service and my clear corners shipped to me in three days with no extra charge. What I learned was not all stores are the same. Some suck and some give awesome service. If you want to chance it cancel the order and see if there is another corksport store somewhere. If not Im sure you can find what you want from them cheaper somewhere else anyway. Good Luck.
another?

ordered bronzeoil bushings from them a long while ago.

took about a month, but 2 weeks was because they couldn't get a hold of me to confirm my credit card number.

99protege, I have had problems with Corksport, I ordered a set of NGK spark plug wires from them. Did it over the phone and everything. After around 2 to 3 weeks I called them again and asked what the hell was going on. They told me that the plug wires were on back order, but they did not call me either to tell me that. So I dont know if I am going to do anymore business with them just for the simple fact that they can not call someone to tell them that the parts they ordered are not going to be there when they are supposed to be.

I feel fo ryou guys abouth the ordering/backordering BS. My solution: no matter where I buy anything over the internet/ phone I give the company a courtesy call at least once a week until my stuff comes, It usually saves me from getting pissed off.

corksport

I have recently visited the corksport shop.... should have got pics, theres not much to see there, very small place, not much on display, more like an office with a table that has a display on it, thats about it... it took them 4 months to get my bumper and grille... some stuff is expensive as all hell there, 435 for fogs? i dont think so... they seem really relaxed there, and kind of dorky... lol.... anyways, good product, but ya, you do have to wait..... good luck
