Computer sound system
Just bought and installed a 5.1 Creative speaker system w/ Creative Sound Blaster 24 bit External Sound Card for my Sony Vaio Notebook.
What can I say, its awesome. For DVD movies, games or just to hear MP3's, this system does make a huge difference to my room now. Sounds are crisp clear, guitar sounds, background vocals sharp as a Rambo survival knife. Includes its own Creative Media software leaving WMP in the dust.
And it has remote control which I can be chilling at the other end of the room and adjust, mute, total control of the system. It even has preprogrammed equalizer settings or also gives the option to make your own customized settings and save them. To make it even better; the user has the flexibility to adjust the 5.1 speaker setup in the full physical setup.

WTF R U askyinnnnn..??
[[[[[[[How much did it set you back]]]]]
What are you trying to ask?
The external card was around 100 bucks and the 5.1 close to 150.00.
Its not a Bose or Klipsch system, but it sounds pretty good. Movies in the notebook come alive... My little boy goes crazy following the sounds of the surround speakers when playing Finding Nemo.
And, I love the fact it has remote control.
My bad I did not reply on time.
