CHIP for MX-3 available

Ok.

I talked with the fabricator and he just emailed me.

The chips are ready for the MX-3. Increase in performance : claimed 15HP .

Price: U$100.00 plus Shipping (Which I will do for 3
bucks or so inside the US).

For this price, if I had a MX-3, I would try.If interested email at:

marciobusi@yahoo.com.br

Available on january 2003 or 01/18/03.

Well, I've seen a lot of these on eBay but don't really know much about them. Do they actually do what they claim? Can one of these be put on a LX 1.8 DOHC?

Its not a ebay damn thing

This is actually a chip and you will have to put in place of the OE chip inside the ECU. 15HP is too much in my opinion, unless you have headers, exhaust, intake, ignition where the programed chip could act better.
A reasonably number (IMO) would be ~ 10% increase in performance.

I will check to see if it is available for 1.8.

peace,

I own a protege 1.5

Engine specification will be given (just ask the fabricator). By the way, I wont hide how much I would make from each chip I sell. That would be U$12, which barely cover shipping from Brazil (where the company is) to USA. Once a year I go to brazil for vacation and this company is selling chips for several cars (ford, volkswagen, renault, mazda, gm, fiat, etc). So I though I could bring it for y'a. If you don't want to discuss about this possibility, fine. I am not gonna loose anything, I am going for vacation!!!!!!!!!!!

peace,

even if there's no removable chip in the computer does mean you cannot change. When they chip a computer like the one of the mx-3 they have to physically remove the original chip that his soldered to the board. In other word it's not a do it yourself if your not use in playing in computer.
