Chicks dig rain-x!

Hehe, I just put on rain-x on my windows for the first time last week. Today I was giving a lift to my sister and two of her friend and it was raining quite a bit. On the highway they were all mesmorized and like "wow! this is so cool!"... hehe, chicks dig rain-x!

yeh, rainx works great(!) when going over 40mph.
once you start using the wipers under that it comes off
pretty quickly... wish someone made permanent teflon
type coating for winshields.

That's odd. My coat of rain-x has lasted about 5 months....

mine only lasts about 2-3 rain showers if i use the wipers.

Well actually I don't think what I used was the rain-x brand. It was "Castrol Super Clean AccuVision rain repelling glass treatment." Put it on about 5 mos ago, use the wipers all the time, clean my winsheild at least once a week with Invisable Glass and it still works. Not as good as when I first put it on granted, but it still works well.

the windshield glass in the JDM version has a permanent "rainx" coating. I'm wondering if the MSP here has that same glass because they use a different windshield glass than the other pros. Any MSP owner can confirm this?

Not on my MSP there isn't. I used rainx back in mid 90's I didn't like the streak it made after awhile and seemed to cloud the windshield... This been improved over the years??

Rain-x has a windshield wiper fluid. If you're running down the road, and it doesn't sheet anymore, .... just wash your windows. Works great.

I used to apply it to my windshield, but here in New England it drizzles more then it raines, and even if you are going 40 mph+, it does not work that well. Also, the stupid rooster tails from cars infront of you just make it worse.

i've been wondering the same thing. it looks pretty good, but i'm just not sure. i think for now i'll stick to my race glaze. if anyone finds out anything about the rain-x wax, be sure to post a thread about it.
