Car dealer sues customer??
Not sure if this is old news, but did anyone hear about the VW dealer that is suing a customer for complaining on the internet about bad service? The thread is on the VWVortex forum. The dealer apparently sells Mazdas too, so this could be of interest to members in GA.
Here's a link to the thread that started it off:

and here's a link to a newspaper article about the affair:

(I believe the newspaper link will expire Friday)

That is the longest thread I have ever seen. Read all of it. Cannot believe it.
I have also had bad experience with dealers. I think most of them graduate from the same school of ********. Sorry, but didnot even took my Prowler to the "five star" dealer for a loose wiper
Iam afraid to take the Pro5 to the dealer for that annoying whistling noise.

Holy crap... i've been awake for almost 2 hours now reading that post, and still not done!
Working in the Customer Service field for over 2 years at Rogers AT&T Wireless, I can say this is NOT a way to treat a customer.
more comments, once I'm done reading...

well.. 20 pages of posts, over 75,000 views on the thread...
It seems that the dealer finally undid his cranio-rectal insertion and has dropped the law suit. Not the official word from the dude getting sued, but it was refered to a few times in there.
It was really neat to see all those people from different forums getting in there to post support... we may like to poke fun at the other guys car, but when it really counts people do step up to the plate.
