bronzeoil bushings?

what exactly are bronzeoil bushings? what do they do? and are they universal for all cars?

i'm thinking of getting a short shifter - the B&M has a pretty hefty price tag but the pacesetter seems to need new bushings as far as i can tell from searching on this message board.

thanks!

I got my bronzoil bushings form Corksport .I have use them in both my 92 and 01 .The bushings are superior to the stock plastic ,the shifts are smooth and tight . this is an easy way to tighten up a sloppyshifter . Malcolm
