Snot is WICKED mountain biking music..

We had them and some master of puppets rockin in the truck on the way to the mountain. Totally got us pumped for the downhill action that would ensue!!!!

TooL rocks. I've never seen them live, but I saw Perfect Circle when they opened for NIN in Vancouver. THAT was a badass concert. Was kinda hoping Maynard would rip out a couple Tool tunes for kicks, but no dice.

I'm disappointed no one's mentioned NIN yet.. what kind of board is this?!?!?!? I've been following trent since pretty hate machine.

I'll listen to pretty much anything. In my CD jacket right now are:
creed-new one, tea party-new one, manson-superstar, gladiator sndtrk, orb, moulin rouge sndtrk, tool-lateralus, chicane, tool-aenima, chili peppers-californ, ICP-jekyll bros, delerium, NIN, amanda marshall, pink floyd, royal crown revue, perfect circle, and moby

Hows that for diverse?

That's unfortunate...

Not picking on you personally, but thats the reason the recording industry's up in arms over pirating. I download mp3s too, but if I like what I hear, I'll happily go buy the disk. I like supporting the bands, even if they only get a buck (or less) from the 15$ i paid for the CD.

Yeah dude, I totally agree with you. I love Tool, them and Nails are the only bands I have yet to see that I really regret missing. I love Trent Reznor as well. Don't worry man NIN is the ****. I own every Halo there is. And just recently added "Things Falling Apart" the incredible live DVD with the accompying live CD. Totally kicks ***. The only better live DVD I own is the Mudvayne one.

Sorry man - NIN live was the absolute greatest night of my life. nothing could possibly top it. The DVD (although awesome) doesn't even come close to what the experience of being there was like.

I missed out on Tool when they played here. Wasn't 18 yet and therefore couldn't get into the bar they were playing. There were still unknown back then - I think undertow had JUST come out, or was going to be released very soon at the time.

Well when all your CD's get stolen TWICE in the same year, once from INSIDE the principal's own office, you kinda get tired of replacing the same CD's over and over again, especialy cause they'll probably just be stolen again. I will buy a cd if its from a smaller band that doesnt get much publicity, but that's usualy just cause i cant find good copies of their songs

ACTUALLY its not....I download music that has been posted BY THE BANDS....usually not the big names you all know and hear about....usually little guys that are not only selling their music...but have SOME of it out there to sample...wet your whistle so to speak....but there is a LOT out there for free...FROM the bands themselves.....NOT pirated from them. you can get some REALLY fine tunes for free...FROM the original artists off of MP3.com

Well, i had ALL of my cds stolen once from me (along with a bunch of other stuff), but that didn't stop me from buying music. What it did do was prompt me to go and get house insurance! Don't make that mistake, ppl!! I lost about 300 cds and had no way to recoup the costs...

To add a strange twist to that story - I happened to be at a flea market a couple weeks after it happened, and lo and behold what do i see, a substantial amount of my CDs at this one booth. The guy couldn't (or wouldn't) say where he got them from tho. I knew they were mine cuz I do something to the booklets to identify them as mine. I bought back the ones I really wanted for like 5 bucks each (like my soundtrack to Akira - cost me 32 initially!) and moved on. I've since repurchased most of the disks I really wanted, and forgot about the rest.

Sorry, I don't have sympathy for you, in fact I think it's a pretty lame excuse. Next time don't take your entire cd collection to school with you. Plus there's nothing saying you can't go to used record shops or flea markets and pick them up on the cheap...
