Best hot dog you've ever had

I'm on a personal search for the greatest hot dogs in North America. If you've ever had a great hot dog, please tell me where I can get one! Distance is no object.

Best hot dog I've ever had: Pink's, at Melrose and La Brea, in L.A.

Alright, you want a good dog? Come on out to Camden Yards for an Orioles game... If I remember correctly, I had a Hot Dog from regular vendor outside that was incredible.

...get a pack of Kowalski hot dogs. Make sure they are the all beef ones. Yes, Kowalski is Polish (well, Polish American anyway)... the best dogs always are. It's the real deal. Crank up the oven (yes, the oven) to 350, and bake them. You'll have a nice, red, crisp dawg with that ballpark snap when you bite into it. Grab your favorite beer and turn on the tube to catch the game. Enjoy!

(...am I the only one who misses baseball season this bad?)

The Mighty Midgit Kichen in Leesburg, VA. It is a little tin building smaller than my protege that is only open for lunch.... It is soo worth it.

Lake Norman Chrysler/Jeep in Cornelius, NC. They give 'em out for free while you look at cars. Great chili, great slaw, and fresh onions chopped by a 91 year old italian lady until they're almost a paste. (also free drinks and chips)

The Original Hot Dog Shop in Pittsburgh, on the border of the U of Pitt campus.
Best time to go is @ 3am.
Unless you're sober. Then don't go at all.

I just remembered...I got really good brats in Germany (Bavaria, specifically)! I know, it's unfair... and I'm really hungry for German food right now
