I quit drinking about 2 years, and recently started again.
When I quit. My favorite Beer was Dead Guy Ale from Rouge Breweries, And Henry Weinhard's Dark.
Right now, I'm in the process of finding the perfect beer.
They still sale Dead guy Ale but it's not at the discount market and I don't want to spend $9.00 for a 6 pack. Used to be $6 which is spendy but not unreasonable.
Right now I'm making my way through Henry Weinhard's Stock, They're local and near Micro brew quality with out the cost.
Still like the Dark but my pallate can only take so Much. Guess i'm not as hardcore as i used to be
Tried Blue Boar Pale Ale. Light tasting and kinda sweet. Not enough flavor for me. Probaly won't buy again.
Then there is there Private Reserve. This is so far the perfect blend. Not as potent as the dark, but more than the Blue Bore Pale. They say its brewed by the same meathod Henry Weinhard used back in 1856. So Far this gets my Vote for the best
