At least from that one song (the one that plays on their myspace page) not a very unique sound, so not sure what makes them 'the best'.

You and my mother seem to have the same great taste in music. She loves euro-crap also!
hahaha, just kidding. As a music major in college I have to be critical of everything I hear but I also catch myself setting my iTunes to play the Theme from the Ninja Turtles movie while I'm in the shower so I can't be too judgmental.

I have to admit, yes, I really like the current crop of British bands:
Arctic Monkeys
Hard-Fi
The Go! Team
Manic Street Preachers (this band's been around for a while)
and the band in this thread. I just got really tired of hearing nothing but
Emo, Rap and Green Day clones.

Another two words- Roots Reggae. Some of the best drumming in the world...except for jazz guys, that is.

Modern jazz just doesn't do it for me. Anything pre-1950 though, it's the cat's meow, daddy-o.
Bob Marley is surely on Mount Olympus.
