Anybody know a good place to find how much baseball cards are worth. My wife to be has a shitload of cards that we want to sell to get money for the wedding.

i would get on google or msn or yahoo and type in "baseball card appraisal"....what you do NOT want to do is take them to a local card shop without knowing what they're worth.

that's exactly why i'm looking for there values. i plan on taking them to a local flea market and didn't want to get *** raped by selling them for less than what they're worth.

You should be able to just go to any local sports card or comic book shop if you just want to pick up one of those monthly Becketts, assuming there's one close by. The problem is, unless her cards are either very old (say, 1960's or earlier) or very new and are star players or rookies that are part of "insert" subsets (autographed, jersey swatches, etc), there isn't much of a market for them. The other problem is grading. You will inevitably run into buyers who will argue with you for hours about the grade of particular card. Of course, getting them "officially" graded can be both time-consuming and expensive. More than likely, you'll end up having to sell all of them together as some sort of package deal.
