Well, Wu-Tang was good, but still, he was an ol' Dirty Bastard after all.
Anyway, it's kinda tough to admire someone guilty of assaulting his wife.

 

So, no love for James Brown when he passes away eh? Everyone makes mistakes.

 

Hmmm, true, everyone makes mistakes, anyway, I liked Wu-Tang but really haven't paid much attention to ODB's later work.
My real point was that maybe that's why no one else posted.
As for James Brown, well, yeah, in a way his off-stage behavior is kind of disconcerting.
I suppose, though, there are times when you have to be able to separate a man's contributions from his actions.
Which is why Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame. Personally I'd like to clock the guy, he's a complete *******, but that shouldn't take away what he accomplished as a player.
There are a lot of other ********, much worse than Rose, already in the Hall of Fame...

 

Werd. I aint sayin ODB didn't deserve a a knuckle sandwich for hitting his wife. Probably deserved a few of 'em. But yeah, its about the achivements. And its not like he got away with murder.

I just dont really care about celebrity-anything....especially obituaries. nad ESPECIALLY obituaries from people in "that lifestyle".

p.s. also anytime a wife beater dies an angel gets his wings.
