I find it interesting how everyone claims that you should be tolorant but those same people both christian and not do not show the same intolorance towards those who differ with there belief. So is tolorance only needed when that person has a belief system at least close to yours?

You started this thread, ostensibly about Evolution. You had to, however, inject your personal beliefs into the dialogue (I suspect the original topic was only bait such that you could do this). That is indeed your problem. Tolerance (note spelling), is already extended to you and your beliefs - you are free to exercise your religion. You have not provided the same courtesy to me or anyone else who does not want to listen to Biblical Babble. If such was your agenda, might I recommend you start another thread with a religious theme. Believe me, I'd stay very far away!
Using your religious values as an argument against science is baseless and opens you up for the harsh feelings you interpet. Furthermore, you've only attempted proselytize rather than debate.
Tolerance is a two-way street, buddy. You've had your say, but now it seems you wish to play the role of persecuted Christian, like some long-haired, bearded white guy hanging from a stick!

Some would retort that full believers in science are afraid of what they don't understand and can't control. The less spiritual reject the idea of a controlling force and try and pin nature down with rules which are easily explained.
Hell, I know these rules are very useful in daily life, but science is pretty useless in explaining the deeper philsophies associated with man. Religion can be greatly comforting, unlike the cold touch of science.

unlike closeminded people like you i do research into things i not only believe in but in what i don't believe in also. the post i put in originally was real from real news, they believe now that basically all land animals can from the ardvark you should really learn about the things you believe in.

Anyone got a link to that aardvark article? Sounds rather suspicious to me. I'd really question the fact that all land animals, (mammals anyway) came from the aardvark. What's more likely is that a small group of insectivores or rodent type mammals survived the meteor or whatever catastrophe that killed off most of the dinosaurs. These insectivores could be closely related to aardvarks (which are also insectivores) but aren't really aardvarks in sense. It's like saying a lemur is a human. They are related but not really so. Let's start seeing some real proof and data before we all get are panties in a bundle about creationism being better then evolutionism etc.
