First off....
ManU is an English Premier team.
Villa....no sure what team that is.

Only countries play in the WC.
Italy is ok.
Korea is so-so.

Teams to watch for as usual:
Germany
USA (surprised?) Freddy & friends!
England...David B.
Argentina
Mexico

My personal faves:
Cameroon
Nigeria
Jamaica (for obvious reasons..but we failed to qualify...thanks to Eddie Johnson and the US squad)
Brazil...Top dogs!

Watch for:
Croatia..they ALMOST pulled it off last time.

FIFA WC

Hope that helps...and yes, I'm a soccer guru....I even played college ball.

I can't watch the World Cup, there are just too many teams. But I LOVE the EPL and
the FA Cup matches. Gotta love Fox Sports Net.

Holy crap you're a youngin! I was 13-16 when we lived there. It was quite an adventure and I've seen a lot of art & architecture. Someday I'll go back and visit when I get a little extra $$

I am a huge soccer (football) fan/player as you can see in the quick-pics I took. I've been playing for over 10 years I guess, I started when I was in elementary school where the games usually consisted of a massive blob chasing the ball. I developed into a Midfielder mostly dude to my speed and usually played either right or left midfield... I'm trying out for my camus' intercollegic team next fall so wish me luck!

As to the origional question, I am a pretty good ManU fan, but I love Brasil. Hot chicks, great soccer, and awesome Formula One drivers (Go Rubens Barichello!). Actually, I was in Montreal, Canada when they won the World Cup in '03 and you wouldn't believe the size of the Brasilian population there! They filled the streets all night screaming they're typical chant: "Oh-lay olayolayolaaaaaayy... nós somos os campeões!!!!" (we are the champions). It was quite amuzing and fun to be involved in and around.

My favorite EPL team these days are the T-ham 'spurs.
There are perennial great teams like Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U but's it's like watching the Yankees and Braves all the time. They seem to have the same problem in England as baseball has here. The best players follow the money, and the big London teams (and ManU) have the money.

i got trophies and all.... and always soccer has been my fav sport

my fav team has always been arsenal... they screwed up now though... they're too far behind chelsea.... but they were league champions 01 - 02, and 02-03

but next game arsenal vs. man u .... and they're 2nd and 3rd place with 1 point seperating them.... i wanna watch that game....
