Suuuuure ive seen u flame 20-30 people that don't put periods. I could take the time to make it more understandable if i really gave a **** what u thought . So why do u think are proteges are ugly? i dont think it matters what people own, because my car is pretty rice, lol i have a fart can exhaust, but we all need to try and be nicer to the people on the forum. im not saying "RESPECT" people, because you really cant respect people you dont know, but we can all make an effert to not flame people whenever they post **** that doesnt have peroids, or is spelled wrong. when your on a forum, your supposed to be a family, a group of people you can look towards to help you out when your having troubles, either family, or car trouble. or whatever. i mean im guilty of being an ***, and saying **** i shouldnt have, we all are. but we need to come together, and act more like a family, and less like a bully in grade school.

see the thing im getting at is, the stupid flaming between certain members has to stop someday. like you and jon. everytime one of you posts something the other has something to say. it gets old after a while.

 

 

I totally agree with Jesse about the education part. I came here back in October knowing absolutely nothing about a Protege, now I know quite a bit. Yeah, I still ask some stupid questions sometimes, but these guys have been patient. I also think they realize that I'm here to learn and won't keep asking the same stupid crap over and over again. Once I learn, I don't mind passing that info along to new folks, but like others have already pointed out it gets very redundant after a while, especially when they don't even try to search first. I also know after being here for a while who to listen to and who to take with a grain of salt.

About the proper English issue ... I think it's pretty important. If I typed up contracts or wrote reports for my employer that looked like some of the posts I've seen here, well I'd be working for BK after a while! When English > you, it makes you look uneducated. I think the thing that's even more silly is the combination of poor language skills mixed with the gangsta crap. I guess it's just a generational thing that I don't understand, but I know there are quite a few guys here who are in their late teens to early 20s that are very articulate and understandable. Now I realize that the Pro is targeted at a younger crowd than me, even more so since I own a 1st gen, and I'm probably outside of my demographic. I do try to take that into perspective.

Oh well, enough of my .02 ... I'll probably get flamed after all!
