I was sitting at Target waiting for my little brother to come out from work minding my own business and some gurls pulled up in a suped up Nissan Maxiama. They looked very cute and spoiled and stuck up ! They walked over to my P5, and said nice ride... I was all like hahahahaha. She then asked me to open my hood, and i quickly did so, but then ...... THEN !!!!!!! She said what is this a V4, and they laughed and said my car was slow, her friend continued to ask how much horse power i had, and some gurl said its about 90HP ! I was like , then she looked inside of the car and said where the leather at ? They completely disrepected my ride ! So i got mad and said Its 130hp in a low evil tone because they really pissed me off. So i then got her mad, and told her to drive her fathers car back home ! Hahahahaha she really REALLY got pissed then and told me to bring my focus look alike home, she needed to be slapped for her actions but i am not that type of guy, but i offered to race her and she wants to put down $100 on this race. So i am going to race her, and i know i wont win on a straight road ... But i will pick a empty road with tons of curbs thats where my ADVANTAGE will be at. So its on i will set a date and time to race this girl, i am not losing, my PRO was disrepected to much !!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I had my civic I had this girl pull up next to me at a light in a WS6 Trans Am, really clean looking car,sounded good also. She looked over and said, "So how much horsepower is that rice burner putting out?" i was shocked, so i lied "oh around 130hp, havent really put too much into the engine, mainly looks." she goes, "so those are fake boost guages? hahaha" I go, "yea" with an ashamed look on my face. She goes, "well lets run anyways, just for fun" I agreed, and was suprised the light wasnt already green. When it turned green I pulled about a carlength on her and we raced up to 75 mph by then I was 3-4 car lengths ahead. At the next light I rolled my windows up (2% limo tint) and ignored her.

Concept, make sure you empty out your car of anything unnecessary, and if you were planning on an intake or cat-back, do it now, or better yet cams..... look at it as a 100$ rebate if you have a chance against her

Mazima's handle quite well sorry to say. It's not the most nimble car on the road, but I had a 2002 Maxima SE when I went to Malibu. My best friend and I went on a few canyon runs and she took the curves nicely.

Was her's a 5-speed? Hate to say it, but even though you might have her with handling...exiting those curves will let her catch up. Maximas are pretty quick.

screw racing in a straight line, go up in a mountain and race DOWNHILL, then HP will have no effect, and you can go as fast as you want in all the switchbacks and hairpins on the mountain road!!!

What year maxima was it? Pretty much any year (not in the 80s) Maxima will roast a P5 stock to stock. A modded P5, (I, E) would probably keep up with a 3rd gen (89-94) maxima that's auto. A 4th gen (95-99) would kill it, and so would the 5th gens(2k, 2k1), and what I like to call the 5.5gen (2k2) will cream it.

I've always loved Maxima's, and I plan on getting one soon enough (4th gen). A slightly modded 4th gen (I, Y-pipe) can run consistantly in the 14s with a good driver.

Like you said, the only chance you have is if you race in the twisties, but I still wouldn't...

I hate those spoiled little bitches with nice cars, especially when they don't respect other people's rides. I haven't heard a single REAL car enthusiast dis the P5, even honda/acura guys. Most people respect the car, even though they are laking some ponies.

Hahahahaha i live near the Ghetto but in the part where its Mellow and peaceful, so i am always in conflict with Ghetto people all the time, its time i move hahahahahahaha, to all the people that live in maryland, i live near landover !

Yes Maxima's are nimble relatively speaking when compared to cars of their class. But given we are almost 800 pounds lighter, we will hand her *** over to her in the twisties.
