My boy and I went and saw it today.....the best part was it only cost me $4 for BOTH of use to get in...lol

we both enjoyed the movie.....there is something that most everyone here seems to forget....this, nor the first movie was about IMPORT CAR RACING....OR THE STREET SCEEN!!

ITS A FRICKIN COPS AND ROBBERS MOVIE! the imports and the street sceen that goes with them are only the backdrop for the movie....

sure the stuff was faked...ITS THE FRICKIN MOVIES!! IF you want to see real live stuff.....go and watch a documentary.

as for the bridge jump sceen....even that was a bit to much. the only car that could have driven away from that was the one that didn't jump.

Yeah the bridge scene was a little too much. But the boat scene at the end was the worst. I liked how they didn't just do straight line racing, they added in drifting into almost every drag. Was that a Mazdaspeed Protege at the garage that Ludacris owned? I did see the red one in the scramble scene.

I thought i saw a MS in that shot also with a roll cage. I can understand it is a movie but they didnt have to add them jumping a draw bridge at 125 mph and actually landing it and driven away. And why did that chick jump it she knew she lost why ruin her car and risk her life ?

Are those things real that the cops shot at the car to turn the power off? That can be dangerous cuz u could kill yourself I thought that it was like a rocket launcher of some sort at first!
As far as I know cops don't have an weapon like that. But an electromagnetic interference device is plausible. And you could make one yourself, with a bit of extra $$$, no projectile necessary.

I like how Paul Walker is on the lam from the police, yet he drives such a flashy car! A Skyline GT-R with neons on it, racing through traffic? Yeah, good move, ********. I'm surprised he's supposed to have made it to Florida.

yes.....Just don't know if they have one that launches a spiked barb thing like that.....but what they do in fact is emit an EM pulse and it totally disables your cars electronic system....

quite a few police departments have developed stuff like this.....I saw one that was actually a very high speed little remote control car.....they launched it and drove it from the pursuit vehicle....OBVIOUSLY it wasn't for chases like you saw in the movie....but you drive the little bugger up under the suspects vehicle...push a button and an EM charge goes off and totally disables all the electonics in your car.....poof.....you are on the side of the road with a dead car.

Just got back from the theatre. This one was much much better than the first one....actually had a plot to it. The first one didn't go anywhere.

I just got back from the movie with a bunch of SOLO II guys. I think I came out dumber than I did when I went in. You have to love the scene where the EVO is passing everyone on the highway in reverse .

Neway, it was better than the first, but just not my type of movie. At least it was some what comical.

Sure...it's possible...

yeah, I noticed the number of shifts, and when they showed the speedo, it was about 100 after like a minute, damn they are slow...
