Looking at the Wartsila website, there is a Press Release that says that they have actually upped the power of that engine to 92,000 hp (68,640 kW), and also have a 14 cylinder version on the drawing boards that should make 107,000 hp continuous. They are designed for use in container vessels. And big ones. A TEU is 20-foot (container) equivalent units. And from the Engineering drawing, the things have three HUGE turbochargers. I'd guess they are about 7 feet in diameter. You thought that rotor was big.
