Smile

hey Ray, I'm new to this whole thing, but not Mazdas- the people you mention I don't know, or at least I don't think I do could be wrong though. Cool to meet ya. This is the first Mazda I have had since I sold my RX7 in 96. Lotsa BAD cars in between though (worst was my Land Rover Disco) A meet could be cool. When I had my 90 Pro had no computer had no idea about Pro clubs, thought only MG, Triumph, etc. did such. I actually traded an MGB in on my 90 pro, wanted the Miata then but couldn't swing the financing alone and my parents said NO MORE CONVERTIBLES! Had to do it on my own so bought my Protege and promptly totaled it withen 2 years. LOVE this car and cant wait to modify it a bit.

Hey Dario, I saw your handle, i thought it's Ansel's last name. Sorry about that. I'm Ray, I don't think we've met.

I think Dru still goes to Portland State? Don't know if he still have the 323. Ansel, I know is studying in MN. Funny thing was i saw a review on one of the yokohamas at tirerack.com by ansel. I think Jason might still have his protege too (is he Makaveli?)? And you probably know Patrick and Travis.
Wow, my review was seen on tirerack, IM FAMOUS! ;-) Although Ray, I was reviewing my Bridgestone Potenzas, not Yolk's. Im also not in MN, im still in town this year studing at PCC. And yes Baily, I am a long time member of protegetech, although my name is Ansel Bayley, hence the mix up. I saw Dru with his 323 at the corksport BBQ last fall, and whooped his *** in the show and shine ;-) Jason sold his pro almost a year ago and bought a first get RX-7. Ive seen Patrick recently and his now GTX powered 2G. Travis has been posting but I havent seen him. Anyways, the Seattle HIN is coming up at the end of march I believe, and I was going to try to organize a trip and try to meet all the WA people up there. Thats all for now, wait for a post when I get more info on HIN.

Not directly in PDX but just up river from ya. Rainier.

One question, where in Portland or Vancouver (Longview is just across the river) should I take my P5 to get the windows tinted?

HIN again? Can we just have a meet somewhere first, so those who don't feel like going to HIN can still attend?
Well last time was import revolution that started in the afternoon. HIN starts at 8 or 9 in the evening, so maybe we could hold a meet during the day, and those who can, can drive up to seattle in the evening. Just an idea, anyways. And the potenza 950's really are great. Lots of other tires may be a ton better on dry pavement, but none of them can touch the wet traction.
