Anybody driving from Worcester, MA area, or anywhere in MA?

Maybe we should meet up before the event and cruise together. I'm going to be taking I-90 W to I-84 W to CT-8 N (according to mapquest).


Also, I may have trouble bringing the Russian food I wanted. The store I was gonna get it from is being lame and is not making some stuff I wanted to bring due to (of all things) "hot weather". I'll try my best though!

I am taking over SpicyMchaggis's thing of meeting up at exit 9 for those on I84 coming from CT/MA/RI to the meet

If you are coming to the meet via I-84, feel free to meet me at the exit 9 commuter lot off I-84, it is directly off exit 9, and it is Route 25 which this is on/near.

My e-mail is not working presently and has been down for a few days, please do NOT e-mail me regarding meeting up at I-84, I won't be able to respond. Either PM me or just show up at the exit 9 commuter lot off I-84.

I will lead everybody meeting at this point up to the Kent, CT meet and we should arrive in Kent Falls somewhere around 11:00-11:15AM depending on how slow traffic is on Route 7.

Lets all meet at the exit 9 commuter lot off I-84 sometime between 10:00AM and 10:25AM. If you arrive after 10:30AM we will be gone, so if you're running late please give me a call at (203) 470-2203 the morning of the meet, my cell phone should work from the exit 9 commuter lot. I'll be there 10 on the dot.

If you are coming from lets say Waterbury, CT or coming from that direction (exit 9 is in Brookfield CT), you want to make a right at the end of exit 9 and the commuter lot will be there.

If you are coming from NY state or from Route 7 back onto I-84 you will want to make a left hand turn off of the end of exit 9, and the commuter lot will be on your right.

yea mapquest is known for giving directions for the long way. I kinda shortened my estimated time to an hour and 20 min.\
anyway,
I worked late today so there goes the eggroll idea.
So I'll have to order em from a chinese restaurant in the morning if they're open. I'm not going empty handed if I can help it.

 

People can meet at either Route 8 exit 36, or I84 exit 9

There is no advantage in anybody from the Waterbury area going all the way down to exit 9, so both groups should stay separate and go their own ways to Kent.

So, 2 separate groups! TheGoldpro and others in that convoy know how to get to Kent Falls so simply follow him, or follow me from my convoy on exit 9 on I-84, and we'll guide you there.

Otherwise, brave souls coming at different times can easily get to Kent Falls from directions, themselves, if they'd like.

(203) 470-2203 is my cell but it almost definitely wont work in Kent, only from the commuter lot most likely
